Thanks to our new PR company, Yuppiechef had the opportunity to feature in Die Burger, one of the biggest papers in the Cape. For all our foreign readers, and even some of the locals you might not get it all as it's written in Afrikaans. It's about kitchen gadgets and current kitchen trends. But basically its all good stuff and it cost us nothing!

Last week we launched a blog for Yuppiechef. Our whole aim was to have a space where we could celebrate the amazingly cool products that are out there as well as talk about things that are relevant to Yuppie Chefs. You'll notice we've made use of Flickr and are hoping to develop a community around the Yuppiechef brand where foodies, wannabes and kitchen posers can connect. Long way to go still, but we are pleased with the progress so far. Check it out here, and give us some feedback…good and bad.

We've just had some "I'm a Yuppie Chef" button badges printed up, as part of our marketing efforts for www.yuppiechef.com. If you want one of these limited edition badges, you'll find them at The Good Food and Wine Show in Cape Town, 24-27 May at the CTICC. See you there.

The team at Chef'n sent us a wicked package of goodies to try out, including some of their latest products that haven't even hit the SA stores yet. Thank you Chef'n!

The SA Postal Service didn't handle our stuff with the tender loving care we would have liked. [shock, horror!]

Each racket has its own case and is packed in a very sturdy box. So, I guess someone chose to sit on it while taking his lunch break. We will be sending the customer two rackets just to say we are really sorry.

Our new BIG RED COUCH arrived today which is the first evidence of a Live Alchemy office revamp. When we are done entirely, I'll make sure we post some pictures.

Two posts ago we mentioned that we had been throwing around a couple of names for our new up and coming pest site.

PestHQ was our favourite and we were able to get the .com which is an important aspect for us.
